Welding and metal fabrication on the Sussex coast
Shore Welding Limited is a hands-on welding firm based on the Sussex coast. We weld on site at homes, building sites, businesses and boats, and we make things in our workshop in Lancing, from staircases and gates to stainless steel stands.
Christina Dowling is the director, and the person most of our customers deal with, from the first call to the last weld. The business became a limited company in November 2021.
Welding services for Brighton and Hove
Brighton is our nearest city, a short drive from the workshop, and much of our on-site welding is there and along the coast. Our metal fabrication covers steel and stainless steel, made to measure and fitted by us.
Our Google reviews mention steelwork, punctuality, attention to detail and tidiness more than anything else, and that is what we aim for on every job.

In our customers’ words
Three more of our Google reviews, in brief.
The brake pedal on my motorbike had snapped. Chrissie mended it neatly and properly, explained what she was doing, and stayed on past the end of her day so I could ride away on it.

A difficult situation late in the day. The welder who came out kept going into the evening and saw the job through until our building could be locked up safely.

We had commissioned complicated Corten steel arches and needed them welded on site. Christina answered our enquiry almost at once, was clear about her timings and charges, kept us and our client up to date over the two days, and the result was spot on.
